PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali (PT PJB) is a subsidiary company to PT PLN (Persero). It was established on 3 october 1995 and intended to implement decentralization program, enhance efficiency, increase quality service to the public, independently develop with the prevailing healthy indutrial and business standards and limited liability company principles.
PT PJB conduct business activities, among others, as the supply of electricity is economical, high quality and reliability, carry out construction and installation of plant, maintenance and operation of the plant, as well as other business related to the activities of the company in order to make the most of its potential.
In conducting its business, PT PJB applying international norms that are based on three strategic pillars of asset management as a core competence of enterprise (organization capital), human resources management system (human capital), and information technology as a business enabler (information capital readiness). Three strategic pillars that are translated in 10 best-praactice management system which include: Asset Management, Risk Management, Quality Management ISO 9000, ISO 14000 Environmental management and OHSAS 18000 K3, Management of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Information Technology Management, Knowledge Management, Competency-Based Human Resource Management, Baldrige Management and 5S.
