STIKES JIMO is an Indonesian Polytechnic which has been assigned by regional governments to certify local Nurses and Midwives to an international level. Therefore a 5 year professional Nursing Training Programme is being designed and piloted in order to improve the quality and competence of Indonesian Health Professionals in different provincial areas as well as assess them using Curricula from international counterpart Universities and Polytechnics.

The first intake of student Nurses, who come from Nias Island and North Sumatra, will be sitting their international University entrance exams in December 2012. This programme is fully supported by local government as well as the central government of Indonesia.

It must be understood that our Nursing and Midwifery training is born from JIMO’s vision that the development of a country starts with the improvement of the human capital and that, therefore, the quality of basic vocational education, especially in the rural areas, must be improved.

Therefore, STIKES JIMO wishes to invite applications before 15 June 2012 for the positions of:

Local Receptionist
Jakarta Raya

Main Activities

  • Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages
  • Direct the general public and enquiries to the appropriate staff member
  • Open and date stamp all general correspondence
  • Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference telephone calls
  • Make preparations for committee meetings
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
  • Respond to public inquiries
  • Provide word-processing and secretarial support

Local Administration Assistant Finance

Main Activities

  • Assist Administration Officer with preparation of the budget
  • Assist the Implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Reconcile the general ledger
  • Prepare and reconcile general bank statements
  • Maintain supplier accounts
  • Ensure data is entered into the system
  • Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system
  • Prepare income statements
  • Prepare balance sheets
  • Assist with the annual audit
  • Maintain financial files and records

Local Marketing Manager

  • manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
  • conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • liaise and correspond with outside vendors and suppliers
  • analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
  • manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • plan, coordinate and participate in marketing events
  • monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • determine and manage the marketing budget
  • deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
  • develop pricing strategy
  • draft press and media releases
  • liaise with public relations and media contacts
  • liaison with media and advertising
  • ensure marketing activities comply with Government regulations


  • At least a business or marketing-related degree.
  • To have a high level of spoken and written English, achieving at least an IELTS level band of 6.0, TOEFL 60-78, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in the Marketing field
  • experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
  • technical marketing skills
  • proven experience in customer and market research
  • relevant product and industry knowledge experience with relevant software applications

Local Financial Controller


  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • To have a high level of spoken and written English, achieving at least an IELTS level band of 6.0, TOEFL 60-78, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience
  • A working knowledge of accounting disciplines such as, financial accounting, compliance reporting and budget preparation as well as systems development and improvement is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication both verbal and written (both in Indonesian and English). The ability to lead a small team to achieve department and business finance demands is fundamental as is understanding protocol when interacting with management together with maintaining a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines is fundamental so too is effective time management of work flow in order to meet accounting deadlines. The ability to work without Management direction, use initiative and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork is critical.
  • The capacity to train and coach other members of the department is an expected element of this post so too is the capacity to develop and format procedures and work flow systems which accurately reflect the department’s operations.
  • Computer literacy is essential with particular reference to Microsoft Office – Excel & Word.

Human Resources Assistant


  • At least a business administration or Human Resource-related Degree.
  • To have a high level of spoken and written English, achieving at least an IELTS level band of 5.5, TOEFL 650, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in the required field
  • proficient in relevant computer applications
  • Experience of working within an international environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (especially in English)
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
