Deskripsi Lowongan Kerja Tuna Consortium Senior Manager Jakarta Terbaru
The Tuna Consortium Senior Manager (TCSM) will supervise day-to-day operations of a secretariat / program management unit that is hosted by YKAN. S/He will lead operational aspects of collaboration with the Consortium members, as well as other stakeholders in government and private sector. The TCSM will work with relevant Indonesia Oceans Program (IOP) staffs as well as TNC Relationship Managers in responding to donors’ reporting requirements and inquiries.
This may include one or more of the following functions:
Lead consortium partners in annual work plan development and monitor progress
Identify opportunities for collaboration among partners where there are overlaps or synergies in planned activities
Communicate with consortium partners on reporting requirements, work with TNC Relationship Managers on timely submission of reports
Leading or co-facilitating meetings with private sector, government, and other NGOs
Providing programmatic content for progress reports and work plans (in collaboration with other TNC IOP team members)
The TCSM reports to the Sustainable Fisheries Program Director. S/he is based in Jakarta (70%) with frequent travel to Bali and other sites (30%), Indonesia.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
Supervision of a small team of program staff
Geographic size and scope is that of a larger, complex business unit and/or a program that requires cross-boundary work and relationships.
Establishes and maintains optimal performance standards within budget.
Frequently makes independently strategic decision based on analysis, ambiguous information and context.
Negotiates complex agreements, in a political environment.
May be responsible for leading or co-leading a whole system program.
Frequent travel domestically and/or internationally, evening and weekend hours.
May work in variable weather conditions, at remote locations, on difficult and hazardous terrain, and under physically demanding circumstances.
BA/BS degree and 7 years’ experience in conservation practice or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fundraising experience, including identifying donor prospects and donor cultivation
Experience managing complex or multiple projects, including managing finances and coordinating the work of other professionals and partners.
Supervisory experience, including motivating, leading, setting objectives and managing performance.
Experience in partnership development with non-profit partners, community groups and/or government agencies.
Is authorized working in Indonesia.
710 years’ experience in fisheries management, conservation practice or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience developing good governance and sustainable financing frameworks and systems and building the capacity of local institutional to manage natural resources.
Knowledge of/Experience working with current trends and practices in fisheries and marine conservation and Asia-Pacific region.
Demonstrated experience influencing, developing and implementing conservation policy and plans.
Developing practical applications of scientific concepts and technical innovations for conservation purposes.
Knowledge of methods and standards of biodiversity information systems and initiatives.
Motivating team members, setting goals, and leading efforts.
Delivering practical, adaptable products and services to customers.
Knowledge of politics and society with respect to environmental affairs.
Managing time and diverse activities under deadlines while delivering quality results.
Communicating clearly via written, spoken, and graphical means in English and other relevant languages.
Demonstrated success as an inspirational manager who has successfully motivated staff to achieve and sustain excellence.
Demonstrated leadership and visionary qualities and able to work effectively with and through others in a decentralized and geographically dispersed organization.
Extensive networking with high-level conservation contacts; political savvy.
Proven interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
